OneDrive by Microsoft
OneDrive (formerly known as SkyDrive, Windows Live SkyDrive, and Windows Live Folders) is a file hosting service and synchronization service operated by Microsoft as part of its suite of Office Online services. First launched in August 2007, OneDrive allows users to store files and personal data like Windows settings or BitLocker recovery keys in the cloud, share files, and sync files across Android, Windows Phone, and iOS mobile devices, Windows and macOS computers, and the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. Users can upload Microsoft Office documents directly to OneDrive. OneDrive offers 5 GB of storage space free of charge, with 50 GB, 1 TB, and 5 TB storage options available either separately or with Office 365 subscriptions.
I've tried installing OneDrive on Linux Mint three times and everything works fine. And the linux I use is Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa. But hopefully it will work on other Linux versions as well.
Some tutorials have explained the installation process, but there are many ways that make the process complicated. I found the easiest way, let's try:
$ sudo apt install libcurl4-openssl-dev git
$ sudo apt install libsqlite3-dev and then sudo pacman -S curl sqlite dlang git
and then
$ sudo apt install onedrive
During the installation process, a link will be given which you must copy paste into the browser address bar. Then you must fill in the username and password on the form provided (usually the username is an email address). If successful, a blank page will appear, it's okay, you just have to copy the address listed in the browser address bar and paste it in the OneDrive installation process on the console.
This is the response requested by the system. Please the paste the callback URL:
If it works then the directory will be /home/your_dir/OneDrive. then you just write the command:
$ OneDrive
Good luck!
